GordianAppreciator101 Posted October 25, 2024 · Member Posted October 25, 2024 This one seems to be a coin of Elagabalus from Carrhae (?) but I can't find the correct attribution number. For this second one I'm not even sure if it's a Roman Provincial or something else. It's really small but the details are there. Would be very thankful for an ID of either or both. 3 Quote
Roman Collector Posted October 26, 2024 · Patron Posted October 26, 2024 The first one is a provincial coin of Carrhae in Mesopotamia. That's Caracalla on the obverse. I can't help you with the second one. 1 Quote
GordianAppreciator101 Posted October 27, 2024 · Member Author Posted October 27, 2024 Thank you. Certainly the 2nd one really intrigues me because I can't even guess what the reverse is supposed to be Quote

Benefactor Ancient Coin Hunter Posted November 6, 2024 · Benefactor Benefactor Posted November 6, 2024 I think it looks like a modius or grain measure thingy. Quote
