At its upcoming November auction, Norwegian Oslo Myntgalleri is offering the perhaps most wanted sestertius for auction with a starting price of about 63 000 $.

Very nice! FWIW, at least two members of this forum have one already! Alas, I'm not one of them, though I do have this connected coin and I visited the Colosseum itself 20 years ago.

Thanks for the shout out! It's one of my favorite coins.

And thanks @Bannerknight for the heads up on the Oslo auction. There are some other very nice coins in the sale, including ones I underbid - it's nice to finally know where they went and perhaps get another crack at them!
