Thanks you two! I'm old and soooo bad at tech that I hope you're getting this message.  I have alot of ancient coins and I didn't know where to turn. A friend told me that this is an excellent group with good people.  I'm sorry to be a pest! I'll contribute if you guys want (though I'm not sure anyone would want my advice!) Thanks again!

Newcomers are always welcome here. 🙂

Here is some additional information about your coin, by the way: Online Coins of the Roman Empire: RIC IV Severus Alexander 133 (numismatics.org)

Welcome, @Sandy!

That’s a beautiful portrait of Severus Alexander.

Here is my specimen, which is the same type:

image.jpeg.34ebd7ebe32d4e44e9d6b037749ad
Severus Alexander, 226 AD. 18mm, 2.86g.
Reverse: ANNONA AVG, Annona standing left holding cornucopiae and grain ear over modius.
Reference: RIC IV 133 (RIC = Roman Imperial Coinage; a series of reference books that catalogue and describe the coinage of the Roman Empire.)
