Obv: Laureate bust of Elagabalus right, over struck with laureate bust of Severus Alexander right. Rev: Tyche seated left, Larger Tyche, seated left, holding eagle. Very unusual and rare overstrike, with much of the original coin still visible. Perhaps a shortage of coinage in Rhaesena in 232 required this coin from Edessa to be re-struck? 6 2 Quote
