expat Posted August 29 · Supporter Share Posted August 29 Where has it got to be sent to? I regularly have coins sent from @lordmarcovan in Georgia, USA, to me in Spain, USPS standard post with tracking, and the longest I have waited is 9 days. 1

Benefactor robinjojo Posted August 30 · Benefactor Benefactor Share Posted August 30 I had a similar experience with an eBay return, which pinballed in the Miami metropolitan area for around three weeks. Eventually it arrived at the seller's address, but it was something of an odyssey. I did make an inquiry with the USPS about the shipment and I was told that there was an issue (apparently) with the bar code, which was causing the looping, and that there was nothing that I could do, only wait for an employee to notice and correct the problem. That happened, but it took time.

One point of note is that most of the shipments I’ve sent you have been single raw coins slipped into “letter” mail (i.e., no customs declaration). Had what I sent you been “package” mail, with a customs declaration, who’s to say how long they might have taken? The customs angle can have a big bearing on the transit times of international shipments. 1
