Just received my first Domitian. Love the miniature owl at Minervas feet on the reverse.

DOMITIAN (92 AD). AR Denarius. Rome.
Obv: IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GERM P M TR P XI.
Laureate head right.
Rev: IMP XXI COS XVI CENS P P P.
Minerva advancing right on rostral column, with chlamys blowing backwards, brandishing spear and holding shield; to right, owl standing left, head facing.
RIC² 730,  RSC 274. Weight: 3.23 g. Diameter: 19 mm.

Here's an Athens mini owl.

Attica, Athens. AR hemiobol. Circa 454-404 BC.
Helmeted head of Athena right / AΘΕ, owl right head facing, wings folded, olive-leaf and berry behind, all within an incuse square.

Actually @Aether you are correct in a way. After seeing and reading that thread confirmed my impression that I had to have one, an order last week included one and I am happy to have it.

Great acquisition, @expat! I like the little owl with Minerva. Did you know the species is actually called the little owl? Here's my favorite little owl with Athena coin.
