MrZun Posted October 18 · Member Share Posted October 18 (edited) There are some stuff in these coins that make me worry a bit about it. In the images there are some dots, that look like bubbles. Most say that they are and look authentic, but I want some more confirmation. What you guys think? Also, the Weight of the vespasian one is 3,3 to 3,4 grams and the Septimius hás 3,1 grams. The edges of both are also good and the last photos are these ones close to ones i have no doubt that are authentic, just for comparison 🙂 Edited October 18 by MrZun Changed denarius to denarii
PeteB Posted October 18 · Member Share Posted October 18 From the photos and weight alone, they both look authentic to my old eyes. What you circled on the obverse of the Septimius Severus coin look to me to be ancient, hard deposits. If true, definitely authentic. 2
Ryro Posted October 18 · Supporter Share Posted October 18 I don't like the look of the poor photos of Vespasian.
