Here's another example of a pictorial love token hosted on an 1905 IHC.. This Lion carved by a very well known coin carver, ans elongated cent designer.

Frank Brazzell who lived in Indiana was well known for his carved coins, and elongated machines. Now deceased his works are well  sought after...

The first 30 or so years of my life were in Delaware. Someday I will get around to replacing this crappy photo.

Specifically, I grew up outside the state capital, Dover, in a town called Wyoming and attended Caesar Rodney High School. Caesar Rodney, of course, was on the first state quarter.

  • 3 weeks later...

A YN friend who Ive had the pleasure to befriend sent this set to me last week. Jeff is such a nice kid....and he actually goes to school in Singapore.

He wanted to gife me something and he chose this nice set. I removed the coins as the plastic to my knowledge has PVC in it....each coin had a very fine coating of dust like ...so my suspicion was correct... as that dust was CN medal. And yeah if your under 20 your a kid...old guys rule...lol

Amazing posts so far, coin-gang!! (yup, some super fantastic stuff has been posted)

I was born in Victoria (British Columbia, Canada)

So yah, I should post some Canadian stuff ... how 'bout a few of my $4 Dominion of Canada notes from the 1900's?? (pretty cool, right?)

Here's a extremely rare US fish scale.... its a 1852/2 less than 10 known examples ...and in xf details its one of the highest graded ...as none over vf that have graded straight.  What's also crazy is the term "minor variety"

LoL....I think not... the date has an inverted 2 over the 1
