It says Mongol Uls (= Mongolia), 50 Mongo, Mongolbank.

Thank you, Guys. That is what I am after. Your assistance is much appreciated.

My main interest is coins but I seem to have a collection of notes, as well. First to last Britain, Australian., New .Zealand., a lot of U.S., German, and a 'smattering of others.

I never realized until I learned enough of the Greek alphabet to read the legends on Roman Provincial coins, how closely the Cyrillic alphabet was based upon it.  Which is how I was able to decipher "Mongol."
