And your wish is granted!!! You know what Don Cherry always said...don't blow out a team because they will come back angrier and more motivated than ever. The Avs winning 7-0 has been some great news for the Bolts. Lightning in 7

Talk about putting a positive spin on it!  Were you born in Canada or something?  😁 Of course that would also mean the Avs are gonna come back hard tomorrow and take a home game away from the Bolts... 😛

Home ice advantage: Ultimately the altitude in COL is gonna doom TB, failing all else.  Here's an altitude coin to celebrate:

I can't go against the two time champs. I think Tampa wins it all

I wasn't born in canada but I did always tune in for Don on TV, mostly for entertainment lol

Ron McLean's eyes always said it all...

Much better now!  I like Bieksa especially.  And Ron, except his comments about how some tiny town in Canada will be happy that their boy is making good... (nobody cares, Ron!! 😆)

Yay, OT again!!!

Post your votes for who's going to get the OT winner...

(Well, @Steve, you can post yours at least.  I doubt anyone else is watching!)

I say... Hedman for the Bolts.  (I'm now wanting them to win tonight because otherwise I doubt we'll get 7 games!)

As @Steve the Great says, it's that time again!!  But now I'm firmly back in Colorado's camp.  Enough already... time to close this series out.  I'm expecting Tampa Bay to win tonight at home, on their humid crappy low altitude ice they're so used to, but will be glad if the Avalanche manage to do the deed tonight.  Although that would be a bit sad for their fans, who wouldn't get to see the Cup in their arena that way.  And a game 7 is always nice, if rather nerve-wracking!

Still, I hope they take it.

Remember: the Lightning have won TWO CUPS IN A ROW already.  Time to give someone else a turn, and Colorado has had an amazing season capped by an ever better playoff.  They totally deserve it!

So here's a cup for the Avs (Tetricus II antoninianus):

image.jpeg.27fe89b3f1b1c5f4ad938db0fda4407c.jpeg

And a really nice barbarous imitation (made in the asylum?) for the Bolts!! 😆

Sidenote: I have been building a stand-up garden in the backyard (it is coming along quite nicely)

Oh, and "frick" the Avs => Go Tampa Bay, Goooo!!

Ooops ... I'd better slip-in a coin so I don't get booted-out??
