Seriously, ancient weapons have always been a favorite of mine.  I'm really sorry to see mine go to auction, but for many years I have not been able to display them properly, so they weren't getting the appreciation they deserve.  They were supposed to be auctioned off last year, but CNG has been very busy lately, and now Dave is on an excavation at Vindolanda in the UK and yet again delayed.
