One of the Daily Doubles in round 2 referenced the EID MAR denarius,“in 2020 an unnamed bidder spent $4.2M for the so-called EID MAR coin minted by this assassin.” It was an $800 clue so the contestant bet $10K clearly thinking it would be easy, and then missed the question! 🤯 Couldn’t believe it!!
