  1. I am rather fond of this one. Top graded, for this year (MS-65). This was a melt bucket rescue.
  2. @Harry G that bottom coin looks like it was struck through a capped die (likely by another blank). That mirror ghosting you see looks like indirect metal transfer from the struck side.
  3. Impressive!! I don’t have any ancient errors, but I am definitely an error collector and researcher, and I love these. @Furryfrog02 that top coin looks like it was double struck, but the first strike was a mirror brockage! 🤯 Very cool!
  4. I remember that, I had a front row seat as a CCF moderator. Renee just had a really bad day and her sarcastic side got the best of her. She apologized for her actions and was removed as a moderator, but the damage was done. Undoubtedly, it was an event I am sure she truly regretted afterwards.
  5. Nice to see you staying connected with old friends Steve. Some folks on CCF still ask about you on occasion… I’ll be out in Kamloops next April (2023), giving a short course for the Kamloops Exploration Group (KEG). We’ll have to hook up for a coffee or a pint then.
  6. Just a Canadian lurker here, but a friend of Steve’s. Steve had a rough go with cancer and a few other health scares a few years ago. He retired from his Manitoba job and is hanging his hat in Kamloops, BC. Steve sold his ancient coin collection, all consigned through a dealer, who did sell them as “ex-stevex6” pedigree. As far as I know, Steve stopped collecting coins, but has hung onto his Canadian 25c collection, his error coins, and his paper money collection. He is enjoying retired life, and still cheering hard for the Vancouver Canucks. I am sure he’d be proud to hear of you guys still remembering his enthusiasm with ancient coins. Best of luck with your new forum.
