Octavian & Julius Caesar
"Dupondius"
Italy, 38-37 B.C.
18.38 g - 30 mm
S 1569 - C 3

Since we are in competition with the whole world, the equation is simple: either we agree to overpay for a coin, or we don't have the slightest chance of getting it. Regarding this auction, I was targeting two coin. I paid twice a "reasonable" price for the first, and I didn't get the second, because I only bet one and a half times a "reasonable" price (I won't develop the notion of "reasonable" price, it would take me too far). Since the madness caused by Covid, my annual number of purchases has been roughly divided by three.
