Description

I’m making some space in my collection and will offload a number of coins that don’t quite fit in there anymore. I’d love to see them find a good new home!

Here, I’m offering a lot of eight medieval and early modern coins. Fair disclaimer: All coins are fully attributable but come in lower grade than I would consider optimal, thus the low price.

The lot includes:

- Cilician Armenia: 3 AE kardez coins, struck for Levon II (1270–1289 AD, Bedoukian 1565/6), Hetoum II (1289–1306, Bedoukian 1589–1619), and Levon III (1301–1307, Bedoukian 1836–9). All three show considerable wear.

- Spain, Castile and León: 2 AE/BI blanca coins, struck for Henry III "the Suffering" (1390–1406, Alvarez Burgos III, 597, Burgos mint) and Henry IV "the Impotent" (1471–1474 AD, Alvarez Burgos III, 828; Burgos mint). Yes, these two rulers didn't have the most fortunate nicknames...

- Republic of Venice: 1 BI tornesello, struck for Antonio Venier, 62. doge of Venice (1382–1400, Biaggi 2857). Surfaces a bit rough as usual, otherwise fine.

- Hungary: AR denar, struck for Rudolph II, 1585 AD, Kremnitz mint (Huszár 1060). Face of Mary on the reverse a bit weak, otherwise nice.

- Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth: AR dreipölker, struck for Sigismund III, 1621 AD, Bromberg mint (Kopicki 858). Flan flaw, otherwise nice.

The coins come with my tickets containing fuller attributions (in German):

I’m asking 40$ plus shipping. PayPal Friends&Family is preferred, TransferWise also works for me. Attractive swap proposals are welcome, too!

I live in Germany and will ship from there. Shipping is what DHL charges me:

To the US: 10$ without tracking / 14$ tracked

To other EU countries: 5$ without tracking / 8$ tracked

To Germany: 2$ without tracking / 4$ tracked
