Obverse: IMP C GAL VAL MAXIMINVS PF AVG; Laureate head right.
Reverse: HERCVLI VICTORI; Statue of the Farnese Hercules right, with lion skin and club set on ground; H left, ANT*(star) in exergue.

Condition: Very fine with traces of silvering

This coin depicts a famous statue from antiquity, the Weary Herakles. It was created in about 320 BC by the sculptor Lysippos of Sikyon.
